How to make a simple homemade soap

Have you ever read the label behind your soap bar?
yes! the weird chemical names which they used in the soap like 1,4 dioxane, sodium lauryl sulphate, triclosan, etc..

Don't know what they are? try googling it, you will be surprised to know the facts that it causes harmful disorders to our skin.

Try to avoid those chemical junks and substitute with any kind of mild glycerin soaps or make your own homemade soaps instead, which is 100% organic and natural.

Hey ! come on, who doesn't like to do DIY? here I'm going to share some of it. To make a soap we need a soap base which is available online (or) you can use a glycerin soap.

I'm using pears soap as my base since it has no harmful chemicals in it. Alright, let's move on to the fun part.

1. Almond honey milk soap for dry skin:

Ingredients:

1 pears soap bar(medium sized)
1 tbs of almond oil
1tbs of almond powder
1tsp of rose petal powder (optional)
1tsp of honey
2 vitamin-e capsules
2tbs of milk

Preparation:

Grate the soap bar finely and melt it using the double boiling method as shown. Add all the ingredients and stir it for about 1 minute until everything combines well. Now, grease any silicone mould or even a plastic cup which is available at your home with vaseline, so that the soap won't sticks to the surface, gently pour the mixture into it. Rest it for about 4 to 5 hours in the freezer. Now your almond soap is ready to use.
This yummy soap gives you a nice rosy glow. It treats the dry, dull skin and makes it plump.

1 potato
1tbs of liquorice powder
1tbs of olive oil
1tsp of honey

Preparation:

Grate one medium sized potato along with its peel and extract the juice by squeezing it. Keep it aside for a while, so that the starch deposits underneath. Now carefully remove the juice and keep the starch, since we only need that. Next, grate the soap and melt it.Add all the ingredients including the starch. Pour it into a greased mould and use it after 5 hours of refrigeration.
This soap gives a bleaching effect to your skin by removing pigmentations and dark spots.
