How to build self-confidence



Self-confidence is a personal journey. Well!! we all gonna takes different paths but ultimately we all on the same road and doing this together. 

The word confidence is derived from Latin, it means (with faith) in an ability in someone or yourself. There are many right and wrong ways to build self-confidence because right or wrong is objective, everyone is on a different path.

The tips I'm giving you guys are universal it's going to help jump-start your journey.

Unwind your negativity:


That confidence is like a mental muscle, like a muscle, everyone is borns with, but not everyone flexes it. If you want to grow your muscles stronger you got to exercise. So here are my exercising tips, 

Consciously think positive thoughts especially during moments when you are felling down. 
Take a deep breath and remind yourself that life is too short and got to make best of it.

Listen to music that will lift your mood. A good beat and sound have been proven to help people in a positive way. Music and sound have been mount to help the growth of plants, well! that says a lot.

You want to have a healthy habit of maintaining this mental muscle and of course, you also don't want to overdo it.

Everything in moderation balance is key and its good to remind yourself of time to time how worthy and awesome you are, but also want to leave room to grow and improve. We can all change and evolve for the better.

Find your qualities:


Instead of focusing on a negative, focus on the positive and it doesn't have to be the physical thing. Who knows? maybe you are an amazing writer, or you are a brilliant artist, or a singer, dancer or even has divine cooking skills.

No one is perfect at everything and we are all made to be perfectly imperfect., kind of a crystal, crystals are not perfectly cut like a flower diamond but its beautiful in its own way. There won't be another crystal resembles the same, in just like you, it has many faces and you will be discovering more talents, as time goes by.

And if you don't think you have a quality, ask yourself this question, what am I good at. Everyone is good at something and if you don't know what it is, well! take this opportunity to find it.

Sign up for cooking classes, painting class, learn how to sing. Pick on a passion and work on it, because this helps built self-confidence.

Have a buddy system:


The journey to building self-confidence is not over mingled. Essentially, everyone is on a journey, find someone you can trust and can share your insecurities with., its good to unwind it off from your chest. 

And if you feel like you don't have anyone to talk to, just go online, that is the beauty of the digital world. You could find a forum or support group for anything, you can go there, to share your thoughts, feelings and insecurities without being judged and the best part is you gonna remain anonymous.

You have to stop obsessing "cannot" and start focus on what "can" to improve yourself. Everyone is going to taking paths, to divert your focus, it may be exercising, hair colouring, painting nails or getting rid of negative friends., I mean as long as you are physically and mentally not harming the person you love.  I see no wrong path towards happiness.

Sharing is caring:


Pass your wisdom and gifts on to others. Teaching, Mentoring and Caring for others is the greatest gifts you can give to others and yourself. Not only is the other person going to feel better, but you will too. Loving others will inspire you to love yourself.

And you know that this journey is not going to be easy. There is going to be times when you want to give up, u can feel lost, you can't continue to walk further down this journey and have to remind yourself that if you want to build self-confidence you have to stay positive.

   Stay positive:


Stay positive is the key to be self-confidence. There is a quote I like "Be like a proton and stay positive". A positive mind will open more doors. Don't just let yourself to win paths take as many as you need until you reached your destination.

And once you find your confidence enjoy it and when you are feeling down, bring that feeling back into your mind and remind yourself that this is an attitude you owned and control.

You are perfectly imperfect and at the end of the day, your imperfections make you special.
